The Lloydminster Golf and Curling Centre is rolling out the green carpet for a charity golf fundraiser, on behalf of the Lloydminster Interval Home.
“The golf and curling club approached us indicating they would like to do this for us,” said an appreciative Charlene Rowein, assistant executive director of Interval Home.
“They are organizing it for us.”
The 18-hole tournament to be hosted by the Interval Home, will be held June 17 from 3 to 9 p.m., with spots for up to 72 golfers.
The purpose of this charity golf tournament is to bring together community members to support the initiatives of the Lloydminster Interval Home and the Lloydminster Community Youth Centre (LCYC).
“The proceeds from the tournament will directly benefit the youth and programs at the LCYC, which is a division of the Interval Home,” said Rowein.
Registration is $100 per player and includes a post-game steak supper at 7 p.m.
Call Leanne Wildeman, the Interval Home’s community education and engagement coordinator at 780-808-5282 for more information and tickets.
