EVERY WEDNESDAY – SIBSHOPS
From 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. from March 8, to April 12 at Lakeland College, Lloydminster campus. Sibshops are for children aged 6-12 years old, who have a sibling with special needs. These workshops include games, discussion, crafts, and fun, and give “sibs” the opportunity to meet other “sibs.” Cost is $10 per session or $50 if registered for all six. Alzheimer’s Support Group
For those caring for someone with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia—spouses, family or friends—this support group offers the chance to exchange information and form friendships with others affected by dementia. Lloydminster Learning Council will be offering a five-part Technology for Adults Beginner Computer Class going over beginner computer, beginner Internet, beginner e-mail, beginner Excel and ending with beginner word processing.
