Canadian Ice spokesperson and Miss Universe-Canada 2014 winner Chanel Beckenlehner will be making an appearance at Ben Moss Jewellers in the LloydMall on May 2 to take pictures, sign autographs and talk about the store’s partnership with Canadian Ice Diamonds.
Beckenlehner, who is the world brand ambassador for the diamond company, is doing store appearances and ribbon cutting ceremonies to welcome the brand to retailers in Western Canada.
“Ben Moss is one of the largest retailers, it is the national Canadian retail partner for Canadian Ice,” said Beckenlehner. “Ben Moss is a great partner for Canadian Ice and they’re sort of launching the whole store out there so that’s really exciting for LloydMall.”
She says she will be speaking one-on-one with clients to introduce them to the brand, which is 100 per cent Canadian and conflict free. Beckenlehner says she’s proud to represent an ethically sound product from a professional company like Canadian Ice.
Her tour will be taking her through Canada, the U.S. and the United Kingdom where she will be doing television and radio interviews and speaking with clients. Along with modelling her obligations are to be well researched and knowledgeable about what the company stands for and why Canadians should “fall in love with choosing Canadian Ice and Ben Moss.”
“To me that makes it an exciting element to the job and that’s what I like most because I know I’m representing something that is really sound in it’s product and then they have great marketing and luckily I’m a part of that. So hopefully I can do a good job over the course of the year educating people about the company.”
Beckenlehner got picked up by Canadian Ice after last year’s win as Miss Universe-Canada, a title she will be passing along in May. The diamond company needed someone to represent its product and signed Beckenlehner on for the year, at the end of which she hopes to prove herself worthy enough to continue on into the future.
“They needed a spokesperson to represent their brand and they thought that being a Canadian brand and myself being Canadian born and raised, that it was a great match,” she said.
“I had the ability through this last year to do a lot of public appearances, public speaking, doing other brand ambassador work, so it was a really nice fit between the image of what they want to take forward with their company and hopefully me as their ambassador.”
