The James Andrew Larose case continued this week with a preliminary hearing held on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Lloydminster, Saskatchewan Provincial Court.
The honourable Judge L.P. Deshaye presided over the preliminary hearing to determine whether there was enough evidence to put Larose on trial for the second-degree murder of his six-month-old son.  Larose was arrested and charged with the murder of his son, Camden Bounting, on March 24, 2009, after Lloydminster RCMP responded to a 9-1-1 call involving the baby’s death.

The matter was adjourned until Jan.5, 2010 at 10 a.m. when the preliminary hearing will resume.
A publication ban on evidence presented at the preliminary hearing is in place and will not be lifted until Larose is discharged or brought to trial.
