Border City employers got a lesson in employment law, and learned how to protect themselves and their businesses against potential employment-related lawsuits. 

While Lloydminster will be receiving less than originally forecasted from the Alberta budget, the sum of money is still more than what was dolled out last year.

 In attendance was Lloydminster’s Mayor Jeff Mulligan, who said his visit to AUMA was an important opportunity to meet face-to-face with all of the mayors in Alberta, familiarize himself with the ideals of AUMA and talk shop.

Campers at Weaver Park this summer won’t just be enjoying their time outdoors, they’ll also be enjoying several new upgrades, including a new washroom facility and picnic shelter currently under construction.

The news coming out of Alberta indicates that some progress is being made in the new Dr. Cooke Extended Care Facility development.
